What I’ve been up to- ‘21 + ‘22

I’ve been busy - too busy to update my website accordingly! Here are a few things I got up to in the second half of 2021 and first half of 2022:

  • I started working in the world of corporate show production, primarily as a contractor with the folks at Tencue, an experiential marketing company based here in the Bay Area. I served as Video Producer & Post-Production Supervisor for Cisco IMPACT FY22 and Docusign GKO FY22, both digital multi-day, multi-region sales conferences. I’m currently working as the overall Media & Content Manager for Cisco Impact FY23, which will be both live in Las Vegas and a digital experience for 20k attendees later this summer.

  • I jumped back into the entertainment world thanks to some old friends. My former colleague Christine Davila, who is the Development Executive at Tanya Saracho’s Ojalá Productions, asked me to help her throw a gathering for Latina Creative Executives in TV & Film. In November 2021 we gathered around 40 women for a backyard party at Ojalá’s compound in Hollywood, with tacos, cocktails, wine, churros, and a portrait studio, all from all Latinx or women-owned vendors. Then In March 2022 I went to New York to be a ringer showrunner/day-of producer for the Cinema Eye Honors for Nonfiction Filmmaking at the Museum of the Moving Image. CEH is a yearly highlight for the documentary community, with a reception and show to present over 20 awards for the best in nonfiction film and broadcast of the year.

  • Lastly, the Alonzo King LINES Ballet team brought me back to be the producer for their 40th Anniversary Gala - back in person at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts for the first time since 2019! We gathered 600 guests for a cocktail reception and world premiere of King’s ballet “Deep River,” followed by dinner by McCalls for 400 in the Forum, with a live auction and paddle raise with auctioneer Emily Quinn. We raised a bunch of money for Lines Ballet’s programs and it felt SO good to do a full in-person production again. And, miraculously, there were no reported covid cases! (We required not only proof of vaccination, but proof of a negative test, managed by the covid compliance team at Safe Spaces Oakland).

I’ll be booking new projects starting in Mid-September. Get in touch with me at zoe@zoereiniger.com - and happy summer!
